African Civil Society organizations: accountability issues

Accountability is very important  to an open society. Civil Society organisations are integral  part of this. But the question is who watches the umpire in its trade. There is a need to come to the table of equity with a clean hand. Civil Society groups/organisations must must be an example of what they preach. On Wedbesday 20th April, 2022 by 9:30am(WAT-GMT +1) some of the best leaders of nonprofits,  Civil society  organisations across Africa  will be holding an accountability  seminar where each will share experience and challenge one another  on recent practices. The Speakers include : Motunrayo Alaja, Executive Director,  Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism,  Dr Blessing Ayemhere,  President.  I-Xtra, Amina Frenze, former Chair, Institute of Advanced Journalism South Africa, Judie Kaberia, Executive Director, Association of Women in Media Kenya, Seyi Oyebisi, Executive Director,  Network of Nigeria Non Governmental organizations, Ijo Edeatan, Executive Director, Media Right Agenda. Dr Suraj olunifesu, Executive Director, ACMID will serve as Moderator while Difficult Conversation Africa platform  Executive Director,  Yinka Olaito will be the host. Do plan to attend
